White Reindeer gift ideas that include my White Reindeer book

Do you like white reindeer?

Are you looking for some great holiday gift ideas?

Why not combine the two by checking out some of these great white reindeer gift ideas as seen on the Amazon widget carousel.

One of the ten items is the book written by DJ Lyons (pen name for Debbie Dunn) called “White Reindeer, Kudzu Monster, & Other Tales Of Wonder.” The novella about the white reindeer is an absolutely true story from beginning to end. There is even a possibility that the white reindeer was an angelic creature sent by God to keep the author safe when she was an impulsive 21 years of age.

The other nine items seen on the carousel are fun items the author found on Amazon.com that may be of interest to white reindeer lovers everywhere.

Do you wish to find out more about those ten items? If so, simply click on one of the items on the carousel. It will take you to the information, price, and detail page on Amazon.com.

Here is the widget below:

In any case, I hope you, your family, and friends have a lovely, safe, and happy holiday season.

Best wishes to you all,

Debbie Dunn aka DJ Lyons

Halloween Ghostly Gathering at Historic Rugby 10-22-2011 Great Success

Professional Storyteller Debbie Dunn was asked to tell ghost stories at Historic Rugby on 10-22-2011 and 10-29-2011.

Their event was described in the following way: "October 22, 2011 - 6:00 pm
A Calling of the Spirits of Rugby's Past - Award Winning Chili Dinner - Lantern Lit Tours to Historic Buildings - Story Telling - Druid's Bonfire Advance Reservations Required - Call toll-free, 1-888-214-3400."

They are repeating the experience on 10-29-2011. This is their description for that night: ""October 29, 2011 - 6:00 pm
A Calling of the Spirits of Rugby's Past - Award Winning Chili Dinner - Lantern Lit Tours to Historic Buildings - Story Telling - Druid's Bonfire Advance Reservations Required - Call toll-free, 1-888-214-3400.""

Here is the link to their site: Historic Rugby Events

They sold out for both events, so perhaps you can make a reservation for next year as this is an annual event.

After the 100 plus visitors enjoyed a Chili Dinner, everyone came to the Visitor Center. Debbie Dunn told family-friendly gentle ghost stories. It was such fun. Everybody's inner child came out to play as Debbie led them  in these entertaining audience-participation ghostly tales.

Next, the group divided into 3 so they could tour several of the Historic buildings.

Lastly, they walked to the campfire to listen to Debbie tell "The Bell Witch Unveiled." This tale is based on her book entitled "The Bell Witch Unveiled At Last! The True Story Of A Poltergeist."

Before and after the performances, Debbie autographed her book for interested patrons.

See the photo above. It was taken by Terry Hunt-Fortier.

Debbie will do this all again on Saturday, October 29, 2011.

My White Reindeer book soon to be published

Hey, Blog readers, I am so excited! My publisher finally came up with the book cover for my book that is soon to be published. My book, written under my pen name of DJ Lyons, is entitled White Reindeer, Kudzu Monster, & Other Tales of Wonder. I am very pleased with the cover they came up with.

I really did have a white reindeer show me the way to safety get down from a mountain that I sort of accidentally – on purpose climbed when I was 21 and on a college abroad in Norway. I was not able to get a picture of that very majestic reindeer that might have actually been an angel in disguise. When I knew I wanted to get this book published, I found a reindeer farm in Scotland that I contacted. They sold me this picture of a white reindeer named Dapple. They actually have reindeers that you can adopt/sponsor. Check out their website to find out more. Here’s the link to my page that links to their page: Adopt a Reindeer

My book is due to be published in the next few days. I am so excited! If you want more information, you can visit my white reindeer website.
